Passenger Transport

Working with national, regional, and local partners to champion rural transport issues and improve lives for Suffolk residents.

We aim to provide safe, reliable, comfortable and cost-effective passenger transport services to the people of Suffolk, promoting the consideration of greener travel alternatives where viable. We want to ensure customers get a great experience when they contact the Passenger Transport teams and we do this by investing in our talent and regularly undertaking staff training.

We are responsible for:

Home to School/SEND Transport and Adult Social Care Transport,
School admissions, customer experience and transport policy,
Concessionary Fares and Travel Cards,
Subsidised Local Bus Services, including Park & Ride Services,
Community and Green Transport,
Transport Assets & Infrastructure,
Transport Data Management and Digital Projects,
Contribute to the Local Transport Plan.
