Infrastructure Management is an integral part of Suffolk Highways and consists of three main teams:
- Asset Management and Commissioning,
- Highway Condition and Insurance Claims,
- Local Highway Budgets and Minor Works.
Infrastructure Management is primarily responsible for the maintenance, sustainability and day-to-day safety of Suffolk's highway assets. In support of this, the teams rely on the storage, management and exploitation of a range of highway asset data sets and records.
The Service Management team consists of three key areas:
- Contract Management,
- Network Assurance,
- Licencing and Enforcement.
Service Management teams support the Highways Services Contract, manage and coordinate road works (highways and utilities) and operate highway licensing and enforcement functions.
