Suffolk Resilience Forum

Who the Suffolk Resilience Forum is, and what they do.

The Suffolk Resilience Forum (SRF) is a multi-agency partnership required under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 to coordinate planning, response and recovery from major incidents.

The Suffolk Resilience Forum team works with multi-agency partners to:

  • Plan for emergency incidents by supporting agencies who lead on multi-agency emergency plans.
  • Work with partners to develop and maintain the Community Risk Register.
  • Coordinate multi-agency working including planning, risk and information groups.
  • Support multi-agency training and exercising.
  • Establish and maintain good partnerships and multi-agency working relationships.
  • Maintain the infrastructure to support a coordinated response to major incidents.
  • During responses, the team will support major incidents at tactical and strategic levels.
