The Suffolk Resilience Forum (SRF) is a multi-agency partnership required under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 to coordinate planning, response and recovery from major incidents.
The Suffolk Resilience Forum team works with multi-agency partners to:
- Plan for emergency incidents by supporting agencies who lead on multi-agency emergency plans.
- Work with partners to develop and maintain the Community Risk Register.
- Coordinate multi-agency working including planning, risk and information groups.
- Support multi-agency training and exercising.
- Establish and maintain good partnerships and multi-agency working relationships.
- Maintain the infrastructure to support a coordinated response to major incidents.
- During responses, the team will support major incidents at tactical and strategic levels.
