Strategy and Change

Our Strategy and Change team plays a key role in putting people at the heart of care.

This is an exciting time of significant change in Adult Social Care (ASC) and our Strategy and Change service plays a key role in delivering our strategic approach ‘People at the Heart of Care’ and our mission ‘for people to live fulfilling and independent lives’.

Our ambition is to use innovative digital solutions and technology to support independence, sustainability, and high-quality care. We know we want to do more to involve people who use services, the people who support them and our front-line staff in the design of services that will be more personalised and better meet needs.

Working in our Strategy and Change service will provide you with the opportunity to make positive changes to the delivery of Adult Social Care in Suffolk, which make a real difference to the lives of Suffolk residents.

Current major programmes include:

  • Reforms to Adult social care services, including Learning Disability and Autism.
  • Customer journey redesign.
  • Development of our reablement offer.
  • Development of an Information and Advice offer.
  • Exploring how to use digital technology to provide self-serve and person-centred processes.
  • The team also support with the major regulatory inspection of Adult social care (CQC).
  • Working with localities across the ICS to Support the development of the Integrated Neighbourhood Teams.

The team also deliver a Programme Management Office (PMO) function.
