Our Parental Returners programme is designed to support people who have left work to raise children and are looking to return to work.
The working world can change so quickly. In the last few years alone we’ve seen drastic changes as a result of AI and flexible working. This can make it daunting to return to work after a period away.
This 12-Week programme is intended to provide a throughline for people returning to work to catch up on skills they may have missed out on, to help them readjust back into finding their work-life balance and to give them experience to use in re-entering full-time employment.
Our applicants are placed within Suffolk County Council within one of our directorates and receive the excellent support of our Early Careers Team and a mentor to help them develop in their time with us.
