Our Finance Team delivers a full range of transactional finance and accountancy functions, alongside supporting the council’s services to deliver their plans and the achievement of the corporate priorities.
Our focus is on delivering the statutory duties of the Chief Finance Officer, through leading good financial management and making sure public money is safeguarded and used efficiently, effectively and economically.
We’re committed to ensuring that the council is compliant with relevant standards and legislation, and sharing and promoting best financial practice across the council.
